Eucalyptus radiata
Eucalyptus is an Australia-originated tree approximately 30m high. Its trunk, with grey and blue shades, has a fibrous bark. Flowers, when they form, are protected before they bloom by an operculum that gave its name to the tree : in ancient greek “eucalyptol” meant “well covered”. Eucalyptus essential oil possesses a very fresh and balsamic aroma.
